Candidates who aim to study and/or specialize in software engineering and have completed any 4-year undergraduate program can apply to the software engineering master's program.

Computer Engineering graduates applying to the program aim to specialize in software project management and software development. Candidates who have applied to the program and have successfully completed the program are not only Computer Engineering undergraduates. Electrical/Electronics, Machinery, Construction, Chemistry, Industry, Petroleum, Environment etc. in other engineering fields, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Psychology, Sociology etc. in the fields of Science/Literature Faculties, Education Faculties and in addition to these Candidates who have completed a 4-year undergraduate program in the fields of Business Administration, Economics, Information Technologies, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, etc. can also apply to the software engineering graduate program. Candidates coming from different fields other than Computer Engineering are generally those who plan to work in the informatics/software sector, or those who think that they have been working in the informatics/software sector for a while without adequate training, or those who plan to work in software project management and software development in the IT sector by retraining.

Among those who have completed the program and are still students, in addition to computer engineering graduates, Electrical / Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Sociology, Information Technologies / Information Systems, Business Administration, Economics and Education Faculty undergraduate has graduates.
